When creating or configuring your account:

  • Use your recognized SSRP information.
  • Do not impersonate another member.
  • Keep your password secure.
  • Never share your account.
  • Make sure you are assigned to the correct department.
  • Make sure your callsign and personnel information are accurate.
Access to NexusCAD features is controlled by your department, rank, and assigned permissions.

If you believe you are missing access, contact your Department Command or the Internal Development Team.

πŸ“‘ Communications & Dispatch

The Dispatch module serves as the central location for emergency communications and incident management.

Dispatchers can use NexusCAD to:

  • Create calls for service
  • Manage active calls
  • View available units
  • Assign units to incidents
  • Monitor unit statuses
  • View the operational map
  • Communicate with field units
  • Monitor emergency/panic activations
  • Manage multi-agency incidents

Authorized field personnel may also have access to self-dispatch functionality.

Unit Status

Members are responsible for maintaining an accurate unit status while on duty.

Your CAD status should accurately represent what your unit is currently doing so Communications and other responding units can coordinate resources.

πŸš“ Law Enforcement MDT

Authorized Law Enforcement personnel have access to the Law MDT.

The MDT provides tools for:

  • Person searches
  • Vehicle searches
  • Weapon searches
  • Property searches
  • BOLOs
  • Warrants
  • Arrest reports
  • Incident reports
  • Citations
  • Penal code references

πŸ“ Records

All reports should be completed professionally and contain information relevant to the roleplay incident.

Reports should not contain:

  • Out-of-character arguments
  • Unrelated information
  • Knowingly false information
  • Metagamed information
  • Abusive or inappropriate content
CAD records are considered part of the official SSRP roleplay record.

πŸš’ Fire & Rescue

Fire & Rescue personnel receive access to fire-service-specific operational tools.

Available functionality includes:

  • Apparatus rosters
  • Fire incident management
  • Hydrant information
  • Station management
  • Incident Command System boards
  • Fire reporting
  • Station alerting

πŸ”₯ Incident Command

For larger incidents, authorized members can utilize NexusCAD's ICS functionality to organize command assignments and incident operations.

Incident Command should be established and operated in accordance with applicable SSRP Fire & Rescue procedures.

πŸš‘ EMS

EMS personnel have access to medical-response tools separate from general fire operations.

Features include:

  • Patient tracking
  • Hospital status
  • Hospital diversion information
  • Triage
  • Patient care reports
  • Medical incident documentation

Medical records should only contain information developed through legitimate roleplay.

πŸ”” Station Alerting

NexusCAD includes Inferno station-alerting functionality designed for Fire & Rescue operations.

Authorized dispatchers can use the system to:

  • Tone stations
  • Alert assigned personnel
  • Activate station alerts
  • Trigger fire alarms
  • Page responding crews
Station alerting should only be activated for legitimate incidents, authorized tests, training, or other approved purposes.

Unauthorized activation may result in removal of CAD privileges or administrative action.

πŸ‘€ Civilian Portal

Civilian members can use NexusCAD to manage information associated with their characters.

Available features may include:

  • Character creation
  • Registered vehicles
  • Weapon licenses
  • Medical information
  • 911 calls
  • 311 calls

Character Information

Civilian records should accurately reflect the character being portrayed.

Information entered into the CAD may be discovered by authorized Law Enforcement or other agencies through normal roleplay procedures.

Members may not use CAD access to obtain information their character would not reasonably know.

☎️ 911 & 311 Calls

Civilian members can submit calls directly through NexusCAD.

🚨 911

Use 911 for emergency roleplay situations requiring an immediate public-safety response.

Examples include:

  • Vehicle crashes
  • Fires
  • Medical emergencies
  • Crimes in progress

☎️ 311

Use 311 for non-emergency incidents or service requests that do not require an immediate emergency response.

Do not abuse the 911/311 call submission system.

πŸš— DMV

Authorized personnel may have access to DMV functionality.

The DMV system can manage:

  • Driver licenses
  • License suspensions
  • Vehicle registrations
  • Vehicle transfers
  • License plates
  • Testing records

DMV records should remain consistent with established character information.

βš–οΈ Judicial System

Authorized Judicial personnel can utilize NexusCAD's court-management functionality.

Features include:

  • Court dockets
  • Case files
  • Motions
  • Court filings

Access to Judicial records is controlled through NexusCAD permissions.

πŸŽ“ Field Training

NexusCAD contains an integrated Field Training Officer (FTO) system.

The system supports:

  • Evaluations
  • Training phases
  • Phase progression
  • FTO assignments

FTOs should ensure evaluations accurately represent a trainee's performance.

Departments can maintain certification and qualification records directly within NexusCAD.

Examples may include:

  • Field Training Officer

πŸ–οΈ Leave of Absence

Members may be able to submit Leave of Absence (LOA) requests through NexusCAD.

An LOA request may include:

  • Start date
  • End date
  • Reason for leave

Department Command can approve, deny, cancel, or otherwise manage LOA requests according to departmental policy.

NexusCAD can track member activity while members are on duty.

This may include:

  • Investigations
  • Personnel files
  • Administrative actions

Depending on configuration and integration status, the map can display:

  • Active incidents
  • Incident locations
  • Unit locations
  • Operational markers

Information displayed on the map is for authorized roleplay and operational purposes.

πŸ” Permissions

NexusCAD uses a detailed permission system.

Access may generally be determined by:

Community β†’ Department β†’ Rank β†’ Permission

Having access to NexusCAD does not automatically authorize access to every module.

Members must never attempt to bypass permissions or obtain unauthorized information.

πŸ”— Discord & FiveM Integration

NexusCAD supports external integrations including:

  • Discord role synchronization
  • Discord webhooks
  • FiveM connectivity
  • In-game integrations
  • REST API connectivity
  • Community-developed tools

These integrations allow SSRP to connect CAD operations with other community systems.

Members should report synchronization or integration problems to the Internal Development Team.
